WHAT WE ARE HEARING IN THE DTES LOCAL AREA PLANNING PROCESS

Check in on the Downtown Eastside Local Area Plan’s progress so far, including achievements and draft outputs, at this workshop. Find out what’s been happening in the process and share your ideas to help create a vision for the Downtown Eastside.
There will be a panel presentation after about 12:30pm but the majority of the event will be more open-ended information booths under the themes the LAPP committee investigated through workshops over summer: Homes, Livelihoods, Wellbeings and Places. There will also be an initial report back from the city’s Social Impact Assessment process which ran along same time frame.
